Who receives your support

ISITUSA is an independent initiative based in the United States. Contributions support research review, maintenance, and improvements to the public website. ISITUSA is not currently a registered nonprofit. We do not claim that contributions are tax deductible.

Card payments

Card contributions are processed by Stripe, on this website where available or through our secure Stripe link. Choose your amount and review the final currency, total, and payment details on Stripe before paying. Support does not purchase a particular research outcome or change a species determination.

A return to this website is not a payment confirmation. Check the status shown by Stripe; some payment methods can take longer to complete. This website does not confirm payment from a return URL.

Monthly contributions

When available, monthly giving charges the amount you select in USD every month until canceled. Review the amount and frequency before paying. Use the manage or cancel link on the Support page and the email used at checkout to access Stripe's customer portal. Cancel before your next billing date to stop future charges. Cancellation does not automatically refund previous contributions; use the separate refund request process.

Questions and refunds

For contribution questions, email contact@isitusa.com. Include the date, amount, and payment reference if available. Do not send card numbers, passwords, or recovery words.

Refunds require a request through our refund form and an individual review. Submitting a request does not automatically approve or issue a refund. We review the payment details and reason for each request and reply by email. Any approved card refund is returned through the original payment method. This policy does not limit rights required by applicable law.

Open the refund request form. Requests are reviewed individually; submitting the form does not issue a refund. If you cannot use the form, contact us for help submitting the required information.

Crypto

Only use a receiving address published here with its exact asset and network. Transfers cannot be reversed by isitusa. We do not manage your wallet, hold your recovery phrase, or ask for private keys. Monero receipts require private verification; a public transaction identifier alone does not establish receipt.

Email is your choice

Contributing does not subscribe you to updates or advocacy messages. Email signups have their own availability and consent process.
